In addition to the scheduled activities aimed at achieving our set objectives, a very interesting aspect was the interaction among the students within their respective class groups and between the two groups.

New friendships were formed, and the students had the opportunity to practice the Spanish, French, and English languages. Belgian students shared visits to the planned places of interest in Belgium with their Galician counterparts, including the Education Councils, the European Parliament Building, the city of Bruges, the Atomium, and more. The students from Ponteareas introduced the Belgian students to places of scenic interest, Galician social customs, traditional cuisine, natural parks, the internationally recognized Corpus Christi festival, the pilgrimage city of Santiago de Compostela, and so on.

It’s worth noting that during each of these visits, each group of students had the opportunity to interact and live together, away from their homes.
